• Global Asset Management. Previous CF10. Understand issues impacting global development of traditional asset management business with exposure to Alternatives. Comfortable operating at a global level solving multi-jurisdiction legal, compliance and regulatory issues.
• Senior Maternity Cover. Wide breadth of understanding of all asset management business areas and risks at a global level including a strong understanding of operations: retail and institutional funds, wholesale, manufacturing, institutional, investments and corporate. Hands on advisor often at the start of new business (e.g. Fidelity Institutional, Lazard’s shift from private clients to institutional and the growth of Irish Ucits as a global product for all Lazard offices). Strong Ucits Fund and management company knowledge and project management, board level.
• Implementation of EU Directives. Board Advice, Conduct and Culture, RDR, MIFID, practical implementation and identification of risks and synergies e.g. remuneration.
• Awareness of operational risk issues. Management of legal regulatory and litigation risks, Co-ordination, leadership and close co-operation across business areas with senior management. Set up and licensing of Dubai office for asset management.
• International Funds. Irish UCITS funds, UK Oeics. Manufacturing for third party platforms - Distribution agreements; Lux closed end London listed trust; New fund administrator and outsourcing arrangements. Experience of Luxembourg SICAVs/ related mergers, Dublin Institutional Cash fund, investment trusts.
